Brianne Parsons takes on the role of lead guide in our Lower Elementary classroom, bringing six years of diverse Montessori experience as a teacher, administrator, and homeschool parent. Bri initially became part of the CMS community in 2016 as a parent. The transformative Montessori education her children received sparked her passion for becoming a Montessori educator.
With a bachelor's degree in International Relations and a minor in Dance from West Virginia Wesleyan, Bri is currently working towards her Montessori Elementary 6-12 certification through the AMS-affiliated Montessori Elementary Teacher Training Collaborative (METTC) in Lexington, MA. Her passion lies in fostering literacy and meeting the needs of each of her students. Before venturing into education, Bri contributed to non-profit management, serving organizations in Kenya and West Virginia.
Originally from Ravenswood, WV, Bri now resides in South Charleston. During her free time, she finds joy in camping and cherishing moments with her husband, Mike, and their three children.
