Charleston Montessori is seeking Teaching Assistants for the 2023-24 school year for the following classrooms:

• Primary (ages 3-6)
• Lower Elementary (ages 6-9)
• Upper Elementary (ages 9-12)
• After School Program

Teaching Assistants work with the Lead Teacher to uphold the best Montessori practices and create a prepared, age-appropriate learning environment for children. 

The ideal candidate should:

• Have a Bachelor’s Degree (preferred but not required)
• Have experience working with children
• Be enthusiastic about fostering a love of learning
• Have strong organizational and communication skills
• Be able to work cooperatively and collaboratively as a team member

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• 7:30 - 4:00 (school hours)
• 11:30 - 5:30 (after school program hours)
• Academic year (10-month) or calendar year (12-month) schedules available
• Part-time or full-time schedules available

Compensation:

• $13-15 per hour depending on experience
