Lesley Janem is the lead guide in our Robins Primary classroom, bringing five years of experience in Montessori teaching. She joined the CMS community in 2023 and is currently in the final semester of her Montessori 3-6 Early Childhood certification with the Prepared Montessorian Teacher Training Institute. Additionally, Lesley holds an AMI certification as a Montessori Teacher Assistant. Prior to her career in education, she dedicated 17 years as a massage therapist.
Lesley is deeply passionate about cultivating a love of learning in her students. She firmly believes that a Montessori classroom offers the optimal environment for children to learn and develop, aspiring to guide her students towards becoming lifelong learners. Her commitment to Montessori methods is reflected in her daughter attending school here at CMS as well. While originally from Duck, West Virginia (Braxton County), it was during her time living in Houston, TX, when her love for Montessori blossomed.
In her free time, Lesley indulges in baking, traveling, entertaining, cooking, and cherishing moments with her friends, family, and husband, Mohammad.
