Primary (3 years old through kindergarten)

Led by Melissa Menon, our Primary Program is comprised of children ages 3 years to 6 years who learn together in a prepared environment using scientifically designed materials.  Children are introduced to individualized and cooperative work.  Learning occurs through curiosity, exploration and discovery.

Elementary (grades 1st through 6th)

Led by Caitlin Brash, our Elementary Program is comprised of children ages 6 years to 12 years who are immersed in an expansive curriculum covering a wide range of subjects. The classroom is designed for both  individualized and collaborative learning.  The teachers are in sync with the students and purposefully foster each child’s curiosity, critical thinking, creativity and character growth. This kind of classroom environment allows the children to become self-motivated individuals who work because of interest and enthusiasm, rather than external incentives and sanctions.

Arrowsmith Program

Led by Shanna Thompson and Buffy Bonwell, our Arrowsmith Program is comprised of children ages 8 to 18 years and focuses on cognitive exercises for most of the school day.  This program works to strengthen underlying weaknesses that cause learning disabilites so that students can return full-time to the classroom with an increased ability to learn. The video below is a 60 Minutes segment on the Arrowsmith Program.  More information about the Arrowsmith Program is available at this link:
