Welcome to Charleston Montessori!  

We offer authentic Montessori education enhanced by specialists in music, art, home economics, STEM and physical education for children from 3 to 12 years old.  We also provide Orton-Gillingham (OG) based tutoring for children who have difficulty with reading, spelling, and writing. Charleston Montessori is a member of the International Montessori Council (IMC).

Charleston Montessori offers three Art Colonys during the month of June for children ages three through middle school. Find your favorite week of summer by joining us! Primary Art Colony is a half-day program (9 a.m. – 12 p.m.); Elementary and Middle School is full day (9 a.m. – 5 p.m.). Art Colony is held on the Charleston Montessori campus.

  • Primary Art Colony – June 5-9 (ages 3-5 years)
  • Elementary Art Colony – June 12-16 (1st-4th grade)
  • Middle School Art Colony – June 19-23 (5th-8th grade)
